DEVTA Life Foundation will be organising a three day campaign ‘Ek Rupya Dan, Cancer Mukt Abhiyan’ from August 13 to 15. This was disclosed by Kishor Bawane, President of Devta Life Foundation in a press conference conducted recently.
Also present were Sudhir, Behati, Secretary, Narendra Satija, Devta Foundation Acharya, Vivek Jugade, Advisor, Kasturi Bawane, Vice President, Prataprai Hirani, Trustee, Sarika Pendse, Nilima Bawane, Chandrashekhar Vasule, Mrunesha Gedam, Asmita Bawane, Archana Damke and angels of the foundation.
Bawane said that on August 13 the Devta Life Foundation will be organising a ‘Senior Citizen Tiranga Rally’ from Kalpana building to Lokmat Square from 4 pm to 5 pm. On August 14, a ‘Laziam’ competition will be held at Jawahar Vidyarthi Gruha, Law College Chowk from 9 am to 11 am.
Total 12 schools and about 250 children would be participating in the competition. There would be first, second and third prize winners. The top three winning schools would be given cheques, trophy and certificates. Also, cancer affected children would be present at the competition. On August 15, under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ an initiative of the Government of India to commemorate 75 years of independence, the foundation will be organising a ‘Vande Mataram Maharally’ from Jawahar Vidyarthi Gruha, Law College Chowk to Khamla Square from 9 am to 11 am. In the rally there would be 75 cycles, 75 scooter and 75 angels, Bawane added.
