Devta Life Foundation, a non governmental organisation (NGO), has decided to celebrate the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ in a unique way. The NGO will launched a one-month campaign from July 15 to celebrate 75 years of India’s independence.
As a part of the campaign called ‘Ek Rupaya Dan, Cancer Mukta Abhiyan’, the NGO will collect donation of Re 1 from the citizens by visiting 75 different squares in the city.
Kishor Bawne, a social activist and President of the foundation, said that on August 15, a mega rally will be organised which will start at 9.00 am from Jawahar Vasatigruha and conclude at The Dharampeth Mahila Society at Khamla Square. He appealed to the citizens to give donations to raise money for cancer patients.
For the past seven years, the NGO is supporting cancer patients in all possible ways.

Dipti Dharmik, Mrunesha Pillewan, Arvind Ambhorkar, Manohar Lokhande and others were present in the press conference held recently.
